His expertise spans fluid-structure interaction, noise control, propulsion systems, and metamaterials, with a strong focus on numerical modeling and computational simulations.
Dr. Akhter holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, and a PhD in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering. His doctoral research led to the development of advanced flow-control mechanisms for wind turbine blades, significantly enhancing aerodynamic and aeroacoustic performance.
